Ive done it. Ive lost 120 lbs and Im NEVER EVER going to over-indulge again. But indulge I will! 80 calories of dark chocolate a day keeps me sane...and satisfied....and my coffee...with white chocolate SF Torani syrup and powdered skim milk (to latte it up a bit) tastes SO decadent to me....yes I indulge...but just dont see the point in over-indulging any more.
Its the small amounts of food I now limit myself to that allows my taste buds to experience what they never could when I was shoveling it in by the forkfuls! Im saving letovers in the smallest amounts in little snack size zip baggies. I think of how I can make pizza flavor on my palate by using things like zuchini and cauliflower.

We do still eat out. Im officially a "cheap date". But I eat SO well for a few days after the restaurant with the doggie bag contents.
But the day goes by and I dont worry about food...I dont think about it all the time. Living life is much more fun by the biteful instead of the mouthful.
I hope to write more...and describe the visuals and the tastes and the smells of the great places we travel to....to eat....in...small..b.i.t.e.s
